Geekbench Score for Quad Core running at 3.2GHz Score 436.2

Position 129 on the Geekbench Charts (25/02/07) Faster than most Mac Pros!

Look carefully below, 10.4.9 drivers have been installed & Display preferences include screen rotation for NV cards.

I am currently working on some airflow hacks for my Hack Pro, by making a lower chamber to house the PSU and watercooling piping/CPU block, I can further drop the temp around 2 degrees. The chamber is fed cold air at the front, by the radiator and this is sucked out of the back by the rear fan. This also stops hot air rising and heating up the 7900GTX 512. The mod is only made from card at the moment, but I intend to fabficate it from Stainless Steel.

The 7900GTX 512 seems to be quite a bit a bit faster than the 7800GTX 256 I was using before. OK, the quad-core helps here quite a bit, especially overclocked to 3.2GHz. This seems to have the edge on the mac pro at the moment, but there again it is 3.2 versus 3.0, 800 ram versus 667megs and 7900GTX blows away the Quadro FX 4500 in OSX anyway.

Well, this system will have to last for a while, just as I get something thats faster than a Mac Pro, they go and bring out a 8 core. Well at least this didn't cost a vast quantity of money, which a Mc Pro certainly would have for this kind of spec!
